1. Char-Broil 12201570-A1 American Gourmet Offset Smoker info

The Char-Broil American Gourmet Offset Smoker is one of the best smokers in the market. It features a large cooking area and it comes with an adjustable smokestack damper. The smoker also has a side shelf which is great for keeping your food and tools.

Broil offset smoker is the cheaper offset smokers that you could probably find on Amazon. As far as this brand, it’s actually pretty good. It’s turned out pretty good considering the price down there is an old Smokey.

It’s worth the price. As long as your expectations aren’t too high, you can do pretty well with it. You can overcome some of the limitations on this. It’s got a pretty good amount of heat loss at some of the seams.

The one thing I would recommend would be to change as soon as you can. The thermostat is at the top. This is actually off of a much more expensive brand barbecue. I’d say the thermostat at the top that comes with this brand smoker or grill, whichever you get, is actually pretty cheap and will break on you pretty quickly.

And again, if you’re not looking for a competition grade, this will definitely meet your needs.

4. Masterbuilt MB20071117 Digital Electric Smoker

Welcome to the wonderful world of electric smokers! If you’re like me, you’re probably wondering if an electric smoker is the right choice for you.

Some guys will argue that you get better results with a pellet smoker or a charcoal smoker. And Master Built is the one I recommend for everybody’s first smoker. This is just purely my opinion based on my experience. So I thought I’d clarify that real quick.

Well, for one, it’s very easy to use and it’s very cheap to operate. It’s super easy to use. It’s just you set your temperature, you put in your wood chips, and if you’re doing a really long smoke.

One thing about this Master Built is it has a little thing on the side that you can pull out, put woodchips in, put it back in and turn it upside down, and dumps the wood chips into the heating element so you don’t have to unlock and open up your smoker that lets all the heat out and let all the smoke out as well.

These electric smokers work unbelievably well and it’s so super easy to use. Master built makes really good stuff and they’re for the money. They’re by far the best ones out there. They definitely have more expensive smokers out there. They’re double or triple the price of this one that doesn’t work as well.

Key Feature

I know people say, well, it runs off electricity but honestly, this thing just sips electricity. It really doesn’t use much electricity at all. It might cost an extra $50 to a dollar in electricity. Part of the reason for smoking is so you can do it at home so you don’t have to go out and spend a fortune on barbecue at restaurants you get much, much better results with a smoker Than you’ve ever had at any restaurant and have it right at home and you can do it really cheap.

I really recommend it as your first smoker. It makes it simple, and easy to use. Highly recommend it. If you’re getting your first smoker, I would highly, highly recommend getting an electric smoker like this one. The reason being is it just makes it unbelievably easy to get really, really good results.

5. Dyna-Glo dgx780bdc-d 36 vertical charcoal smoker

If you are looking for a smoker that has great features and can hold a lot of food, then the Dyna-Glo dgx780bdc-d 36 vertical charcoal smoker is the one for you.

This smoker comes with a side door loading system, making it easy to add more charcoal as needed without having to open the main door. It also has an adjustable height cooking grate, so you can smoke whatever size of food you like. Plus, with 780 square inches of cooking space, this smoker can easily handle a large cookout!

The main thing is that it keeps the temperature really well. While it’s not really targeted to be a grill, it can be used in a pinch that way. Now if you’re wanting something to primarily grill with, this might not be your best solution. But if you like to smoke and sometimes grilling is a really good solution, or even if you do a significant amount of grilling but you still like to smoke meats as well, then this is a really good item.

So anyway, Highly recommend it. It’s great for amateur use. I don’t know, it will be considered a pro-level model but it works pretty darn well.
